Charlotte M. Garmoe, 90, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Savannah Heights in Mt. Pleasant.

Charlotte was born on February 28, 1932, at Good Hope, Illinois, the daughter of Loy and Fawn (Cromer) Cox. She was united in marriage to Keith Garmoe on December 1, 1972 in Burlington, Iowa. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, word puzzles and playing bingo. Charlotte was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Washington.

She is survived by her husband, Keith, of Mt. Pleasant, her son, Duane (Kate) Rice of Elk River, Minnesota, her grandchildren, Andrew, Patrick, Megan and Abigail,
her step-daughter, Debbie Titus of Burlington, along with several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Loretta Whaley and Elaine Avery.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1:30 at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Elder David Hodge. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in her memory.
